2008 BIRDING ACTIVITY

It is my intention to set up a regular blog spot to describe 'whats about' in Pagham Harbour, mainly concentrating on sightings of birds from Pagham Spit (the Eastern side of this natural harbour in West Sussex) . This is my 'local patch' and I usually walk it early in the morning (07.45hrs) and again in the evening before dusk. Each day brings its rewards and every visit is different....the light, the tide, the birds. Although I have been watching this area for many years there is always something different to see and I have now learnt to come to almost expect the unexpected! I also hope to include photographs from time to time to create interest and to remind myself of special' days.

So from January 1st 2008...here goes !!
