Early morning update on Pagham Spit.

7.30am
16 Wheatears, 1 Whinchat, 4 Yellow Wagtails, 4 Willow Warblers.
Greenshank in front of hide.
Chillly NW breeze. 9C
A feel of Autumn!

....and at 7.30 p.m. the Wheatears were still there and a Redstart was in a clump of gorse together with a Whitethroat as the cruise ship Aurora made its way from Southampton towards Zeebrugge
.

Aurora ...a long distance shot!
