The Magic of Medmerry!









My first visit to this new reserve and it is impressive!

Here are a few of the birds which got the adrenalin racing.....

A visit to Pulborough Brooks to check on Nightingales.

Nightingales can be very frustrating and it was just one of those days. Oh yes!.....several singing in various spots but mostly in dense leaf cover.
When they did show up, they were either against poor backgrounds or partly obscured and very difficult to focus on. Here is the one and only acceptable image
Next year, must get there earlier in the month before the foliage is too vigorous!
