A superb morning!

Bright sun, perfectly calm, cold and crisp.

A Little Egret posing on the Lagoon...
...in the sunshine

...what a bird!

...coming into breeding plumage showing the elongated nape feathers.

Mute Swans are getting very territorial and one pair in particular is very agressive towards the others and on some days there have been fourteen on the Lagoon.

..anything but 'mute'

Watch out...I'm after you!
Spring can't be far away!
