Pagham Beach....Media galore

Daily Mail, BBC, Bognor Observer yesterday but today ITV and BBC.T.V and Radio ++
Emergency meetings on the beach, more discussions, JCBs, trucks and little high speed beach rovers buzzing over shingle banks....and a  Council meeting tonight. Hopefully this will result in a resolution to protect us beach residents very soon.

However, more shingle has been shifted from the harbour at low tide and has been brought to infill the  gap at the western end of the now fast disappearing rock revetment.( Last night the contractors were shifting shingle until 11.00p.m.)

Storm clouds gathering just prior to the meeting with BBC and ITV with Tony Sutcliffe (second from right) local UKIP Councillor

More rocks gone over.

Looking east the now diminutive top of the revetment can be clearly seen.
Our beach frontage is now being damaged by the heavy machinery.

Birdwise....my highlight this afternoon was finding a Merlin near the Spit Hide.
