Suffolk never disappoints....just some of the species seen and photographed during a brief visit last week.
Firstly a visit to Minsmere.....
| Avocet |
| Gadwall |
| Black Tailed Godwits....agression? |
| Black Tailed Godwit |
| Sandwich Terns |
| Redshank...head on! |
| Bearded Tits |
| Snipe |
...and then up to Dunwich Heath to capture my REAL quarry!
| Dartford Warblers |
...not easy but at least the first shot of the series was acceptable.
Just for the record a few other shots.....
| Collared Doves have discovered that satellite dishes make good platforms as nest sites. |
| Harris Hawk....North Warren RSPB |
| A crop of the above shot. |
| It has become a menace to the resident marsh Harrier repeatedly harrassing it. |
Three days was NOT long enough!!
