Suffolk...a three day break!

Suffolk never disappoints....just some of the species seen and photographed during a brief visit last week.

 Firstly a visit to Minsmere.....

Avocet

Gadwall
Black Tailed Godwits....agression?

Black Tailed Godwit

Sandwich Terns

Redshank...head on!

Bearded Tits

Snipe
...and then up to Dunwich Heath to capture my REAL quarry!
Dartford Warblers

...not easy but at least the first shot of the series was acceptable.

Just for the record a few other shots.....
Collared Doves have discovered that satellite dishes make good platforms as nest sites.

Harris Hawk....North Warren RSPB

A crop of the above shot.

It has become a menace to the resident marsh Harrier repeatedly harrassing it.
Three days was NOT long enough!!
