The Cuckoo returns....briefly.

Early in the evening the Cuckoo which has been on the Spit for most of the summer returned to the bush in front of our beach bungalow just in front of our living room. I quickly grabbed the camera and shot through the double glazed window..he took a quick look at me before searching for food

Looking for caterpillars.

'Is that one there?'

Yes!..he had located one

...and soon he was off!

Stopping briefly on the guard rail at the 'cliff'edge', he looked back and was away.
